NEF conducts adventure camps and trainings for individuals of all ages. However, we want to encourage children to take part in outdoor adventure sports from their school days. With an intention to reach to the root of our society and introduce school children to adventure racing and adventure sports, NEF has come up with School Enduro3.
NEF conducted School Enduro3 on 28th November 2010 for the first time and for the last two years we have been getting overwhelming response from various schools in Pune. This is an adventure race where school children from classes 7th to 10th are given an opportunity to participate in Enduro3. We had participation of over 75 teams under the mixed team and all girls’ team categories. Every year the number of enthusiast girl participants is increasing.
School Enduro3-2011 was also an enriching and encouraging experience for the participants and the organizers too. From year 2012 this innovative competition will meet you as a part of the grand finale of Enduro3. Here onwards every year we will have School Enduro3 category in Main Enduro3 race. We aim to promote adventure sports among youngsters right from school level and develop their minds for adventure. Adventure sports not only shape a healthy body but also a healthy and strong mind and soul. Children are introduced to many other life-changing qualities like leadership, responsibility, team-spirit that help them in personality development apart from adding a hobby to their lives.
